WHAT HAVE PLANTS EVER DONE FOR US?                            

TIMOTHY WALKER   

Mankind is dependent on plants for everything from food to film,painkillers to paint.   Our exploitation of plants must somehow keep pace with the demands of increasing global populations.            

 

2 May                           

PRUNING FRUIT TREES AND USING SURPLUS ORCHARD FOOD                           

RICHARD PAGET of My Applejuice will give an introduction to pruning fruit trees and making best use of surpluses in our orchards.

ROBERT HARVEY Tracing the development of his Wiltshire garden, Robert discusses the practical and aesthetic principles that give structure and unity to formal lawns and borders, wildflowers and ponds, trees, fruit and vegetables.

TWELVE MONTHS OF COLOUR           

                          

NEIL LOVESEY of Picket Lane Nursery, S Perrott, will offer tips on how to get the best from your plants throughout the year.
