(BYWAYS BA13/20 & BA12/34, FRESHFORD - HINTON CHARTERHOUSE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2015

Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily close to pedestrians that length of byway BA13/20 and BA12/34 in the parishes of Freshford and Hinton Charterhouse between grid reference ST 7649 6046 (to the west of Ashgrove Cottage and Turnip Wood) and grid reference ST 7632 6064 Midford Road.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the byway consequent upon the commencement of the installation of drainage and reconstructing the surface of the byway and will be operative from the 1st June 2015 for a maximum period of SIX MONTHS.  However, the restrictions may not be effected for the whole of the period but it is anticipated that the road will be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary which it is anticipated will be for SIX MONTHS.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE – Pipehouse Lane – Warminster Road (A38) - Midford Lane – Midford Hill (B3110)
