Sainsbury's Shoppers

posted 1 Feb 2017, 02:24 by Parish Council Communications
Freshford Primary School and Freshford Pre-School are taking part in the Sainsbury’s Active Kids scheme again. Every time you shop in a Sainsbury’s Supermarket, you’ll get one voucher for every £10 you spend. Tokens are collected at stores and are redeemed for sports equipment. Over the years both school and pre-school have benefitted hugely from this scheme and we hope to do so again this year.

This means that from now until the 2nd May 2017 you can collect vouchers at Sainsbury’s and donate them to school or pre-school  who can exchange them for exciting new sports and cooking equipment, amongst other items.

If you would like to collect vouchers for the school and/or pre-school please either take them into the school office or to pre-school in the Memorial Hall where there will be boxes in which to post the vouchers.  You will also be able to leave vouchers in the shop. Vouchers left here will be split 50:50 between the two schools. We will be placing an order after the scheme has closed so you have until 2nd May to keep collecting.

Active Kids is a great way for our community to join together to help our kids eat well, move well and live well. So please ask your neighbours, friends and family to help collect vouchers too.

Thank you!
