posted 26 Oct 2014, 03:21 by Parish Council Communications
On Sunday, 2nd November, Avon Valley Runners are holding a running race starting from the Tithe Barn, Bradford on Avon, at 10.00 am.  The course goes through Avoncliff, along the Avon to Freshford Bridge, turning left through the kissing gate, beside the Frome to the lower end of Rosemary Lane, and then up the footpath by Dunkirk Mill towards the A36.  From there the runners will go through Friary Wood, and by way of  Iford and Westwood back to Bradford on Avon.  There will be race stewards at intervals along the course.

There are expected to be about 300 runners, raising money for Alzheimers Support and local Lions Clubs.  Further information is available from Avon Valley Runners.
