Freshford is going to town for the Queen's 90th birthday on Saturday 7th May. There will be a "Royally Fun Tea Party" on the Queen Elizabeth Playing Field behind the Freshford Village Memorial Hall from 3pm with cream tea, cucumber sandwiches and jelly as well as a bar. There will also be a dog show, bell tents, traditional games and a treasure hunt - all ages welcome. Tickets are being sold in advance at the shop - £4 for adults or £2 for children or will be £5/£3 on the gate. Money raised will go the school and pre-school. |
