Re-roofing Works at Freshford Village Memorial Hall: May 8th to early June – parking restrictions

posted 18 Apr 2018, 07:17 by Parish Council Communications
Work on reroofing the main village hall roof to replace the existing felting which has been leaking for a number of years with large insulated metal panels will be starting on May 8th and run through to early June (depending on the weather).

During the work a section of the carpark in front of the hall will be cordoned off and parking will be significantly reduced. In addition, particularly for the first 2 weeks there will be a significant number of large vehicle movements, installing the scaffolding, and  delivering  & removing materials from site. It would be greatly appreciated if residents, parents at the pre-school and the primary school avoid parking in the hall car park and if possible walk or find other means of accessing the hall, shop and café.
