Freshford Mill exhibition - Village Hall, 19th October, 4.30 to 9.00 pm

ENVIRON FRESHFORD MILL INVITE YOU TO A CONSULTATION EXHIBITION ON WEDNESDAY 19th OCTOBER BETWEEN 4.30 and 9pm. AT FRESHFORD VILLAGE HALL

ON DISPLAY WILL BE THE AMENDMENTS TO THE FRESHFORD MILL SCHEME WHICH WILL SHORTLY BE THE SUBJECT OF A PLANNING APPLICATION TO B&NES

As reported in the summer edition of the Bulletin, Environ have been on a true ‘voyage of discovery’ at Freshford Mill.  There has been very slow progress and after much consideration and debate they feel the cost of the scheme has increased to such a degree that it is no longer viable in its current form.

Environ are proposing changes, which relate to the area at the front of the site which previously had the industrial building and car park. The original proposal was for one large 3 storey house but they are now suggesting 2 bedroom cottages and apartments, both 2 storey, matching the need for smaller accommodation as expressed in the Neighbourhood Plan. The number of properties on the site would increase from 21 to 24.

Environ greatly appreciate the support that the Freshford Community have given them and remain fully committed to completing the scheme and would very much like to invite residents to a Consultation Exhibition where the revised proposals can be explained.

A display of plans and images will be exhibited and members of Environ will be on hand to explain the issues they have experienced and the design of the new smaller properties. You would be most welcome.
