Helpers Needed!
Freshford Memorial Hall Work Party - Saturday 26th November, 3-5pm.

Freshford Memorial Hall committee are having a work party to clear out the Green room at the Hall to create a more usable space for meetings, and are also having a tidy and deep clean of the Hall kitchen. More helpers are needed. Could you spare an hour or two on Saturday 26th November from 3 to 5pm, to help make the Hall a more attractive space for its users?
Please contact Claudia Towner on management@ freshfordvillagehall.co.uk or 01225 723924 if you can lend a hand. Thanks.

Extended hours for cheap walk-up sports rate to hire the Hall

The Hall committee have recently extended the walk-up rate of £5 an hour for hiring the Hall for sports such as badminton or table tennis, to any time the Hall is unoccupied and the Galleries Shop is open to collect the key, and pay the hire charge.
You must first check the Hall availability online at http://www.freshfordvillagehall.co.uk/what-s-on
If the Hall is free you can borrow the key from the Galleries during shop opening times with payment in cash only. A basic set of 4 badminton racquets, shuttlecocks, 2 table tennis racquets, table tennis balls, and nets are available to borrow from the Galleries on payment of a £10 returnable deposit. The maximum walk-up hire period is 2 hours. Other activities/sports are allowed in the Hall, but care should be taken to use soft balls only, and to avoid marking/scratching the floor or walls in anyway. Young people aged 14 and above are able to use the Hall unaccompanied by an adult for the purposes of the walk-up sports rate only. All advance bookings will continue to be charged at the normal hourly rate, and take  priority over any walk-up bookings. Please do take advantage of the Hall – it makes a great place to entertain children on a rainy day!
