FLiSCA invites funding applications

posted 29 Sep 2015, 03:36 by Parish Council Communications
The Galleries Shop & Café, which is wholly owned by the Freshford & Limpley Stoke Community Association (FLiSCA), continues to operate successfully and its surplus goes to FLiSCA to support worthy community projects.  FLiSCA plans another grant round this year, and applications are invited from within the community.  To spread our community support as widely as possible and will welcome applications for innovative projects from new sources.  Accordingly we are allowing a long application period, with the deadline 30th December 2015.

How do I apply?

Detailed information about FLiSCA, project criteria and the application process can be found on the FLiSCA page of the Galleries Shop website - which also has a list of projects funded so far.  The funds are strictly to meet local needs.

We have some £5000 available to spend, on this our 8th spending round.    Note that applications for £250 or less can be made at any time and the application process is much simpler.

Please get your application in!

We have allowed plenty of time to make applications but don’t leave them to the last minute!  Equally, please spread the word and encourage applicants who may be hesitant – or may not have access to the internet.  We are keen to seek out those most deserving our support.  Equally, if you have any worries about applying, please do not hesitate to talk to me (on malcolmcshirley@aol.com or 01225 722424) or any member of the FLiSCA board.
