Draft Neighbourhood Plan now submitted to B&NES and Wiltshire Councils

posted 19 Jul 2014, 08:52 by Parish Council Communications
Following an extensive consultation process among residents, during which a large number of residents contributed ideas and suggestions to help strengthen our Neighbourhood Plan, the Plan has at last been submitted to the Local Authorities for their review and for a further period of consultation.

On completion of this process, and subject to any comments that may come forward from the Councils, the next stage is for the Plan to be considered by an independent examination and then, all being well, it will finally be put to a referendum among residents.  The timetable for these later stages is as yet unclear but we may be looking to November this year for the referendum.

The local consultation is, of course, now complete.  If any resident wishes to make further representations they should do so as part of the Local Authority consultation.  When the details of these consultations are known we will publish them by community email and on the FreshfordVillage.com website.

In the meantime, you can view the submitted Plan and the related appendices on the Neighbourhood Plan section of this website.  Just follow the link from the Home Page.
