Dorothy House, The Galleries’ charity of the year 2016/17. A Final Fling.

posted 20 Sep 2017, 01:57 by Parish Council Communications

Before a new charity takes over from Dorothy House as the Galleries’ chosen charity the last fund-raising event in aid of Dorothy House will take place in the Freshford Village Hall on Saturday afternoon, 30th September, starting at 1 o’clock.  There will be the usual astounding array of desirable goods for which Freshford jumble sales are famous – clothes for all ages, toys, books, bric-a-brac, linen, white elephant, etc, etc.  Teas and irresistible cakes will also be available.  Entry fee only £1.

If your house or garage is full of good quality clutter this is the opportunity to unload it.  Please bring it to the Hall during the morning of Saturday 30th September between the hours of 10am and 12noon.  If you would like to help in any way don’t be shy; make contact with Hugh Delap on 01225 722524 or 07973 413474 or at mhdelap@gmail.com.

Come and enjoy yourselves – and buy.  It’s all in a very good cause.
