There is a meeting in Freshford Memorial Hall on Wednesday evening including BANES and all Parish Councils in the Bathavon South area. This is an open forum, and it is your chance to hear BANES plans, intentions and challenges ahead. It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions of senior BANES officials on these topics as this is an open forum. As part of the Bathavon South Forum BANES will be giving 2 key presentations: * Council Financial Plans * Libraries Council Financial Plans Bath and North East Somerset Council will attend the forum to present and interact with people around the challenges that the council faces. The discussions will be local and specific to the area; the council are keen to show the forums how the people attending are able to help. The presentation will be from Councillor Charles Gerrish and David Trethewey. Libraries Presentations are to cover * How local community groups can become involved and do things differently. * How capital funding for projects for community libraries will work and how funds can be drawn upon. Please note that this item could be withdrawn, or change, as a result of the scrutiny panel meeting which takes place on 17 November 2017. This presentation will be made by Ian Savigar.
