Welcome to the Freshford Village website

Urgent notice

March 2018

Freshford Parish Council is looking for a new Parish Clerk. Might you - or anyone you know - be interested in this varied and important position?

Freshford is a beautiful village at the southern-most tip of the Cotswolds, about five miles south-east of Bath and three miles west of Bradford on Avon. The village sits above the convergence of the Frome and Avon rivers and is largely characterised by stone buildings surrounded by fields and woodland.  The hills and valleys that surround the village give an endless variety of views and provide habitats for a rich diversity of wildlife and flora.

Today, Freshford is a warm community with all the services, activities and amenities a rural village needs to thrive - a lovely place in which to live and a lovely place
to visit.
